DefenceVPN, a relatively new VPN provider based in Canada, has struggled with persistent service disruptions and outages. The service is currently experiencing significant operational issues.

DefenceVPN supports Windows, Android, iOS, and Mac operating systems. However, as of this review, the VPN service is non-functional.

My initial visit to Defence VPN’s website was in December 2017, when it was undergoing maintenance, as confirmed by their social media channels.

A follow-up visit in mid-January 2018 revealed that the website remained under “extended maintenance.”

By late January, the website appeared to be operational, but their Twitter account had not been updated since December. To avoid further complications, I contacted Defence VPN directly at support@defencevpn.com, receiving a prompt response.

While the checkout process proceeded smoothly, I encountered issues logging into my account and resetting my password. The website repeatedly indicated that no account was associated with my details.

The application allows users to select servers and connect from different locations. It features a main region window, a connection status window, and a taskbar shortcut for server access.

Upon encountering login difficulties, I reached out to support again. Defence VPN promptly issued a refund, which was processed without delay. However, this resolution left me perplexed.

Subsequent inquiries about purchasing and using the service went unanswered. Despite Defence VPN’s promising advertised features, the provider appears to be grappling with unresolved challenges.
